Gravity Separation Process
1. The gravity separation process uses the action of the water to disperse the mud agglomeration or fine mud bonded to quartz particles, and then removes it.
This process is used in glass, foundry and other industries.
2. According to the different size, mineral has different dropping velocity in water flow. In general, the mineral size is divided into several levels. The gravity separation process distinguishes different grain size to meet user requirements, it is suitable for processing foundry sand, glass sand, cement and standard sand.
3. The iron ore particles with high density will drop rapidly in the water and quartz particles which are influenced by horizontal and vertical flow are separated from heavy minerals. The gravity separation process is applied to glass sand to remove iron and other heavy minerals.
